Her bodywork journey & practice started 6 years ago in Thailand, India, Russia, Bali and is based on the Buddhist principle of Love and Compassion.

THAI YOGA MASSAGE

Thai massage uses acupressure, massage, and passive assisted stretching, where therapists help clients move into their stretch. Thai massage respects the body’s limits, while encouraging clients to reach their edge of flexibility—but never beyond.
Thai massage is performed on a soft floor mat, with clients fully clothed in loose, comfortable attire. Pillows and bolsters may be used for better client support. Therapists may use their hands, feet, knees, elbows, and legs during a session.

The yoga component of Thai massage can also capture the well-established benefits of yoga without actually doing yoga. As the therapist gently moves clients into yoga like poses, tight joints are opened, energy flows freely, and breathing is enhanced. A meditative state becomes part of the process, as both client and therapist focus on breath and intention. Through the assisted stretches, client’s muscles become less prone to injury, their joints have a greater range of motion, and their whole body enjoys greater flexibility.
CHI NEI TSANG - ABDOMINAL MASSAGE

Chi Nei Tsang literally means “working the energy of the internal organs” or “internal organs chi transformation.”
CNT therapists work mainly on the abdomen with deep, soft and gentle touches, to train internal organs to work more efficiently.
Today CNT is mainly used for four different reasons:
CNT detoxifies: CNT manipulations help to relieve the body of excess stagnation, improving elimination and stimulating the lymphatic and the circulatory systems.
CNT also strengthens the immune system and resistance to diseases.
CNT helps to restructure and strengthen the body: because it addresses the visceral structures and positioning of internal organs, CNT stimulates them to work better and also helps correct the postural problems resulting from visceral imbalances. CNT has been helpful with chronic pains such as back, neck and shoulder pains.
CNT helps to deal better with emotional life: all of unprocessed emotional life is stored in digestive system waiting to be addressed. Poor emotional digestion is also one of the main reasons for ill health. CNT facilitates the unfolding of emotions and the clarification of emotional life. CNT has also been successfully used in combination with psychotherapy.
CNT teaches clients to know themselves better. We are all responsible for our own health. Healing comes from within.

Somatic therapy is a form of body-centered therapy that looks at the connection of mind and body and uses both psychotherapy and physical therapies for holistic healing. In addition to talk therapy, somatic therapy practitioners use mind-body exercises and other physical techniques to help release the pent-up tension that is negatively affecting your physical and emotional wellbeing.
Somatic therapy can help people who suffer from stress, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, problems with relationships, and sexual function, as well as issues related to trauma and abuse. Those for whom traditional remedies have not been helpful for chronic physical pain, digestive disorders and other medical issues may also benefit from somatic therapy. Somatic therapy techniques can be used in both individual and group therapy settings.
How It Works:
Somatic therapy is 1.5 - 2 hours long and combines talk therapy with what are sometimes considered alternative forms of physical therapy. Our therapist Zina, will help you revive memories of traumatic experiences and pays attention to any physical responses you have once the memory is recovered. Physical techniques, such as deep breathing, relaxation exercises, and meditation are then used to help relieve symptoms. Some of the adjunctive physical techniques that may be used with somatic therapy include dance, exercise, yoga, or other types of movement, vocal work, and massage.
The theory behind somatic therapy is that the mind, body, spirit, and emotions are all related and connected to each other. As a result, the stress of past emotional and traumatic events affects the central nervous system and can cause changes in the body and even in body language, often resulting in altered facial expressions and posture as well as physical pain. Through developing awareness of the mind-body connection and using specific interventions, somatic therapy helps you to release the tension, anger, frustration and other emotions that remain in your body from these past negative experiences. The goal is to help free you from the stress and pain that is preventing you from fully engaging in your life.
Fundamentals of Somatic therapy:
- Somatic refers to the body in all its realms. A somatic approach recognizes that each body pattern is an outward manifestation of deeper mental and emotional aspects of a person. A somatic therapist views the body as a malleable form that is always in flux, whose given postures and movement styles express inner thoughts and feelings. Regardless of whether pain is physical or emotional, skeletal muscles reflexively contract around pain. In somatic approach muscular holding patterns provide a gateway to unraveling deeper body-mind conflicts.
- Body awareness is the primary tool for change. During massage, the therapist touch helps a client become more aware of body - a first step to change. In somatic therapies, the client becomes more aware from sensing his body while it is in motion or while being passively moved by the somatic therapist.
- Client is an active participant in the process of change, specifically in making choices. Unlike massage, where clients passively receive, in somatic clients participate in body explorations to deepen an awareness of functional patterns. By sensing a contrast between old and new patterns, they can make practical choices to break dysfunctional habits and embody healthier patterns!

Helen's coaching is based on positive psychology and uses Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) as a tool to detect and dissolve inhibiting patterns on the subconscious mind. By doing so, new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving become available to you to shape a meaningful life in alignment with who you truly are. NLP has the ability to address a variety of conditions that have prevented you from getting on with life so far:
- Feeling stuck in transition, f.e. career change, breakup, divorce
- Trauma, f.e. accident, sexual abuse, armed conflict
- Fears, f.e. fear of flying, heights, or spiders
- Lack of purpose, energy or motivation
- Anxiety and nervous tension
In her trial session, she will assess your current situation and what got you here that needs unwiring on a subconscious level. You will then look at where you would like to be instead and how to get you there. To initiate the process of change, Helene will activate your subconscious resources with NLP. This process creates new neuro-pathways that help you reach your goals with much more ease.

This is a stress-reduction and relaxation technique that promotes self-healing. It's done by laying on hands to channel life force energy. If your life force energy is currently low or disrupted, you may feel sick, tense, drained or stressed. Reiki replenishes the natural flow of your life force by treating you as a whole: in body, emotions, mind and spirit. It creates a feeling of peace, security and wellbeing and works well in combination with stress, anxiety and trauma treatments.
